This week ATFA’s product of the week is @Bona’s 3-in-1 Adhesive, Moisture Barrier and Acoustic Insulation System.

Bona 3-in-1 silane adhesives give you confidence knowing that you can provide a solid long-term foundation for any timber floor. In fact, Bona silane adhesives have been used to install more than 130 million square metres of timber floors worldwide.

Bona silane adhesives are effective on a variety of sub-floor types including ply, particle board, concrete, radiant-heat floors and even stainless steel. With built-in moisture protection up to 95% RH and acoustic insulation properties, Bona adhesives are the perfect balance between elasticity and strength. Using Titanium cross-linking with 4-way curing means fast initial bond and curing time so floors can be put into full use or sanded and finished in as little as 12 hours.

With up to 150% greater early tensile strength than other elastic and hard elastic flooring adhesives, Bona silane adhesives superior initial bond or ‘Green Grab’ means the flooring is held firmly to the substrate with fewer hollow spots. In addition, Bona adhesives will not damage or stain pre- finished surfaces and from a safety perspective, contain zero VOCs or
Isocyanates and are EMICODE 1PLUS® certified for very low emissions.
