2019 WA Floor Awards – Terms & Conditions

Conditions of entry – General

Winners will be officially announced at the Awards Dinner to be held in WA on the 16th March 2019. Full results will be published in the ATFA magazine “Timber Floors” in the next edition.

Each winner will receive a certificate, prize or trophy.

All entries, photographs and other materials used in this contest become the property of the ATFA for use in promoting the ATFA and its activities. No entry materials will be returned.

The ATFA reserves the right to reject any entry it deems to not be in compliance with these rules. The ATFA is the final authority on all decisions with regard to this contest.

All information submitted as part of an entry must be true, complete and correct as at the close of entries.

The entrant has read and understands the general rules of the awards and the judging process, and agrees to be bound by these rules.

Conditions of entry – Floor of the Year

Each person/company entering the contest is limited to a maximum of two entries per category: however each individual floor, stair & deck entry can only be entered into the contest once.

Each floor must meet all criteria of the category in which it is entered, with the category for each entry clearly marked on the entry form. Floors installed at instructional schools are not eligible for this contest.

Photographs should not include any company identification (person or item) that may influence the judging process. No company will be identified during the voting process of the contest. Upon entering these photographs, you are doing so on the proviso that you have permission to use photographs of the floor from the property owner, as such you indemnify ATFA from any liability in using the entered photographs. Montage and time lapse photography will be accepted.

Upon entering you are providing ATFA with approval to use photographs and details about the floor for publicity and media purposes. Likewise, the entrant agrees to be available for promotion and publicity opportunities established by ATFA.

Online voting closes Monday March 2nd 2019.
