ATFA members only:

Well, we all know that timber changes colour and coatings can cause the colour tone of timber to deepen. Usually some explanation of the properties of timber and coatings is enough and if owners don’t use floor rugs initially the amount of colour change can be quite acceptable.

But at times you can look at the colour change within a floor and think, that can’t be right, as the contrast is extreme. Such changes can be rapid and provide a floor area with a bleached appearance. Other times deeper tones develop in areas or we have ghosting develop.

It is these and similar aspects of colour change that we will discuss in this webinar as to what may be acceptable and what may not be.
