If you are concerned about the performance or appearance of your timber floor, please follow the 4 Steps outlined below and read the attached PDF information sheets.

Step One: Download and read the following two information sheets.

Step Two: If you believe you have a problematic floor check the fee structure for the costs associated with floor inspection.

Step Three: Read the conflict of interest policy and inspector guidelines.

Step Four: Request Available Inspectors. Please complete the following submitable form and a list of available inspectors in your State will be emailed to you.

Please note: Timber Species Identification is also now available at a cost of $150.00 (additional information in conjunction with an inspection). Contact ATFA to arrange or speak to your inspector if also undergoing an inspection.

Also ensure you provide the contractor with their ‘right of rectification’ before seeking an inspection.
